O'Neil's O'Riginal 2mm Zipperless Short John is a unique wettie design that's perfect for those transitional conditions where a steamer can feel like overkill. the retro styling of this wettie is a bit of a throwback, using a velcro shoulder strap to make getting in and out easy (even easier than a zipper!).

Short Johns are desirable because they offer very little resistance to your movement, whether that be through the arms, shoulders or legs. That's essentially because there isn't neoprene there, and instead it focuses on covering just your core components. The very little neoprene that is there is a flexible UltraFlex DS neoprene that stretches to 150% its original size length and is resistant to scratches from things like velcro.

The O'Riginal Short Johns has an exterior lining of Glideskin neoprene that's great for keeping you warm. It's hydrophobic so it won't soak up water and make you vulnerable to wind chill, and absorbs heat from the sun easily.
